Bridging Connections
In a world full of ideas, with so much recycled ancient wisdom, it is hard to live on ideas alone. I know this well for that is what I tried to do for so long with my old motto being ‘Will think for food.’ However, it is realistic to live by alignment, authenticity, and integrity for these are all commodities that one person, and one person alone, possesses. Should you choose that path, no one can take these qualities away from you (though many will try).

… and then there is the majestic moment when insight descends, perspective shifts, comprehension dawns, and, even after 20+ years of standing in front of groups, I get ‘the teacher tingles’. You know that feeling when the hair on your arms stands up and you’re kind of lightheaded and jazzed at the same time? That’s what I’m talking about… and that’s what I live for.
I lovelovelove seeing ‘the lightbulb go on’ when a new perspective works it way into someone’s reality. It’s kind of a drug for me. A colleague recently said to me, “I love how you still get nervous when you speak. It shows you still care.” Amen sista’.
Authenticity Advocacy
You might call it Coaching but I prefer to call it Alignment Assistance, Creativity Consulting, and Navigation Nudging and I approach this work not from tired platitudes like ‘life coaching’ or ‘career consulting’. Do you strive to:
- Stay in alignment with your head, heart, and gut?
- Speak your lower-case-’t’ truth authentically?
- Live in integrity?
- Explore your unique set of gifts?
However, if you want to externalize your power by:
- Demanding someone else get you that ‘dream job’,
- Praying that an expert can make sense of your life,
- Or hoping that you’ll find the answers out there…
We won’t have as much to say to one another. The answers aren’t out there.
